My breathwork journey started with (200hr) Hatha Yoga teacher training at The Yoga Barn in Indonesia, moved through activating breathwork, meditation and cold exposure training, and led to the two-year Breathwork Mastery program with The School of Breathwork - one of the only ABA-accredited courses in Australia. I'm also a professional ABA (Australian Breathwork Association) member.
Having trained across both activating and gentle styles, what I've found is that personalisation matters more than people realise. Activating styles stimulate the sympathetic nervous system - which has its place. But for the strong ones already running on overdrive, more activation rarely creates the lasting change they're looking for.
We can't hustle our way to wellbeing.
Breathwork Mastery (RBM) activates the parasympathetic nervous system - rest, digest, restore. Agenda free and designed to create space rather than direct it, the range of experience is wide. Subtle or profound. Quiet or dramatic. Your body will only ever take you as far as you are ready to go and your experience is created through your intention.
